Ephemeral Arch (1)

Ephemeral Arch has a span of about 7 feet. Park at the end of the parking area
at the cabins (see Park map). Descend into a small side canyon either by walking up
the hill to the right, and then descend the slope on the right into the canyon; or descend
the cliff on the left of the parking area. Neither route is difficult. Once in the side canyon,
walk 100 to 200 yards to the main Fire Canyon. Turn left and hike up Fire Canyon for
about one mile to the arch on the right. The small, but attractive, Thing Arch is on the
opposite side of the Canyon.
