Ephemeral Arch (2)

These directions to Ephemeral (2) are somewhat different than the
directions supplied by Ray Millar for Ephemeral (1); but both directions
will get the hiker to the same destination. These directions were
supplied by Rob Jones who took this photo of the opposite side of
this strange-looking arch. Start at the petrified log pull-out just
east of the Cabins area and walk over the low ridge and into the
canyon. From here, continue up the sandy and very picturesque
wash to Ephemeral and Barbell, qv. Ephemeral is on the right going
up-canyon and is 10 feet above and adjacent to the wash. It is about
a 40 minute walk from the parking area to the arch.
