This page is dedicated to all U.S. veterans, past, present, and future with a special tribute to five American Heroes.
These five heroes answered the call to serve. When asked to leave their friends and families for a far off
country called South Vietnam they didn't hesitate or try to hide from their duty to God and Country. Few remember them,
but their families and friends are not alone in remembering and fighting for them. These pages are but a small token of
thanks to them for making the ultimate sacrifice. There are still many true American patriots that can still say
YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

Check out my special tribute to LtCol Bobby Neeld and Capt Mitchell Lane, missing in action,
04 January 1969, South Vietnam; Capt Randall Craddock, missing in action 21 December 1972,
North Vietnam; SSgt Alfons Bankowski, missing in action 23 March 1961, Laos, and Col Stuart
Andrews, missing in action,  04 March 1966, South Vietnam.
All served with honor in the United States Air Force.

I have POW-MIA bracelets for four of these heroes. I have had LtCol Neeld's bracelet since 1973, obtaining it just over one
year after my commission as a Second Lieutenant in the USAF at an Arnold Air Society National Conclave in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Also attending that Conclave were Daniel "Chappie" James, Jr., General, United States Air Force; Steve Ritchie, Brigadier General, United States Air Force; Charles DeBellvue, United States Air Force; and hundreds of honored veterans.

Capt Craddock's date of loss is my father's birthday and SSgt Bankowski's date of loss is my birthday. SSgt Bankowski is from Connecticut, my home state as is Col Andrews. Both Col Andrews and SSgt Bankowski are from Stamford.
