Andromeda is a native of the planet Ardun, a world under GLEA quarantine since the Terrian War. She escaped from Ardun while still in her teens, and made her way to the Earth, hoping to hide out among the population there. She was found by Zodiac member LIGHTNING, who fell head over heels in love with her and helped her to stay undercover. After the original Zodiacs' dispersal through time and space, Andromeda made the journey to Zodiac Mountain only to find the Zodiacs' leader, Orion. He recruited her into the team, impressed with her power to manipulate energy fields. Sagittarius joined about this time, and the two became great friends, but she was deeply in love with Orion . She retired for awhile after the death of Orion, but recently rejoined the team.
