A man without knowledge of his past, he only remembers his name...Richard Mathis. His memory begins with his foot jets and hand blasters already supplied to him by an alien civilization to help that people combat crime on their planet. Suspecting that he was kidnapped by that race and memory wiped out only to serve them, Astro Man escaped and began searching the galaxies for his identity, helping others along the way.
