LODESTONE Jacob Kurtzberg gained his magnetic powers in an unusual manner. They run in the family. He is a descendant of the Ephesian called SATE. The powers surface in the family every third or fourth generation. Jacob became Lodestone and joined the last incarnation of the Zodiac. Eventually, he met his famous ancestor, who had travelled through time and lives in present-day Israel. Jacob recently quit the Zodiac to move to Israel in a quest to better know Sate, and thusly his own abilities. Jo-Kann also quit the team and is accompanying him.
