Fred Sathain, electronic engeener by day and crime fighter by night. He was robbed and beaten on night walking home from work. Tramatized, Fred designed a helmet which projects a 3-D human form he calls Quasimode that he controls via thought. While controling the form, Fred goes into a zombi-like state and can't move until the form has been recalled. Making him vunerable to attack . He designed the form to be frightening to crooks and even clothes himself in a costume that will intimidate the villan as well. The "horns" on the helmet he wears are the antenna that broadcasts his 3-D form.
