Personal Details: Dave was born in 2346 to an Orion captain and his wife. He spent his childhood growing up in and around New Berlin, on Earth’s Moon. The second oldest of 3 siblings, Dave's childhood was one of support by a closely-knit Orion family.

When he was six years old, his father, who most of the time had been away on his own starship, was offered a teaching position at a facility on Earth’s Moon. This he jumped at the chance to be closer to his family, so Dave was told. Dave's mother taught as a Business professor at a local private liberal arts center. Dave's Sister the youngest of the 3 spends much of her time on Orion running the family business.

As Dave was growing up, he developed an interest in space and dreamed of someday piloting a Federation starship and exploring space. He loved building models and in his older childhood, he started to gain a collection of small Starfleet ship models. Once in high school, his growing collection garnered a lot of attention from his teachers and friends. At one point, he even won some awards in a number of notable model-building competitions. He cherishes these awards to this day.

In the final year of his high school studies, he was introduced to holo-modeling and later schematic modeling in some advanced classes. He took to these new interests very rapidly and with great ardor, and by graduation those that knew him were encouraging him to follow his dream to fly in space. They hoped his budding interests in Starship design would lead him to a position in the Engineering sciences. However, Dave's dream to pilot a starship won out. He wanted a ship just like his dear PaPa.

In 2365, he applied and was accepted to Starfleet Academy. Unlike his brother, but that’s another story (see below). Dave instantly took to his studies and dedicated himself to learning the science of Navigation. He still pursued his interest in model building, but was limited to what he could do as his studies began to demand more of his time. To his parents delight, Dave did well and four years later graduated in the upper 35% of his class.

In 2369, he was assigned a position in the Tactical Dept. onboard the USS Euphrates (runabout) at the age of 21. It was commanded by a newly promoted Commander Stark. The vessel was a one of a kind Runabout that was dispatched off the USS Kelly commanded by an outstanding Captain (now Admiral), Dennis Hollinger. He served with the distinction due his rank.

Dave was given a chance to attend Simulator tryouts at the Pleasant Grove training facility. Proving to be better at piloting than tactical, he was promoted to acting chief of Conn, earning the Simulator Mission Ribbon.

He then served with the great Captain Rouviere, who attempted to rescue Captain Hollinger, during the Green Peace Crisis, thereby earning Simulator Ribbon Mission 2. Captain Rouviere rescued Captain Hollinger on a later mission.

Dave provided basic Security tactical support at the Salt Palace 2 Station during the Shatner Delegation. Due to the great number of visitors and the smooth work of security, he received the Legion of Honor. The same year he received the distinguished service award. The next year he achieved another distinguished service award.

In 2370, the Euphrates suffered crippling damage and nearly lost her crew. She was salvaged, towed to the nearest Starbase, and repaired over the next few months. On 51102.5 when the time came to re-staff the Euphrates, the crew was surprisingly introduced to a new ship, the Intrepid Class USS Ticonderoga. Dave was requested for the position of Assistant Chief Conn Officer. He accepted, and served the next several years on a mission of exploration.

Dave was shortly promoted to Chief of Conn and given full opportunity to pilot a Starship. While visiting friends on the USS Kelly, an incident occurred that put him in command. Dave earned the Kelly Command ribbon for his actions.

In 2373 an issue erupted on a typical away mission to the Tipanogas Cave on Earth which left Chrystal, his Wife in sickbay for two days.

Following the end of the war and a few months leave, Dave took command of the Conn Department again. He has vowed to serve with no less distinction than before. He still treasures that dream he had from youth to pilot a Federation starship, only now perhaps that "destiny" has even more meaning.

On 57110.3 Dave was promoted to Lt. j.g. A year later Dave was promoted to full Lt. on Stardate 58100.4. After reaching Lt. Dave began thinking about becoming a line or bridge officer. During his training Dave earned the Prantares Medal of Commendation 2nd Class and the Talaxian Trade Medal.

Dave received command of the Ticonderoga during the Captains Holiday in 2385, installing Orange Shag carpeting. It goes well with the other unique installs the ship has received during past commands when Captain Stark was on Holiday. April 2388 Dave was acting Captain of the Ticonderoga for a full month.

Dominion War: 2373-2375

During the Dominion war, his brother Robert ended up MIA. (to the mirror universe, where he now captains the ISS Ektar)

In early 2374, the Seventh Fleet attempted to stop the Jem'Hadar in the Tyra system. Only 14 out of 112 ships survived the assault. Later that year, the Seventh Fleet took heavy losses again, this time at Sybaron.

In early 2375, the fleet was assigned to launch a counteroffensive against the Cardassians at the Tibor Nebula in the Kalandra sector.

The Ticonderoga took part in the retaking of DS9 and Betazed from the Dominion.

Additional Details: Dave likes to play paintball, dom jot, and is often energetic about Sci-fi. He is Also A huge V fan!
