Robert was buried on 4 August 1948 in St. John's (Hain's) Church Cemetery, Wernersville, PA.⁵⁰ Robert, his wife Sallie, his sons Elmer, Samuel, daughters Bessie, Adelaide, Nora, and Clara and Nora's and Clara's husbands are buried in one plot.
