107. Samuel Brossman/Brosman was born on 7 September 1800 in Shafferstown, Lebanon Co., PA.¹² He died on 14 January 1873 at the age of 72.¹²

Samuel Brossman/Brosman and Catherine Sanders were married on 27 July 1826 in Warwick, Lancaster Co., PA.¹²

It appears that many of Samuel's children may use the spelling Brosman instead of Brossman. As time goes on, more of these names and descendants may change from Brossman to Brosman.

Samuel and his family went west with his brother Benjamin and two other brothers but settled in Illnois when one of the brothers' wife died. See the Notes with Benjamin Brossman/Bressman and Jacob Bressman.

It also appears that his family relocated from Illinois about 1851 which is most likely the same time his brother Benjamin Brossman/Bressman relocated to Iowa.

Catherine Sanders was born on 26 November 1805 in Lancaster Co., PA.¹² She died on 27 August 1853 at the age of 47 in Green Co., IN.¹² She was buried in Bethel Cem. Bloomfield, Green Co., IN.¹²
