1687. James William Brossman Jr was born on 3 December 1938 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. He was baptized in 1939 in Calvery Lutheran Church, Hyde Park, PA. He was confirmed on 3 April 1955 in Evangelical Lutheran Church, Laureldale, PA. by Rev Mark K. Trexler. James served in the military between 6 July 1956 and 5 July 1960 in U.S. Air Force. James and his first wife Rebecca or Becky, moved to Reading PA after their marriage where he attended the Penn State Berks Campus and earned an associate degree in Drafting and Design Technology while working for Textile Machine Works as a machinist apprentice. He then worked for Sandia Corporation in Albuquerque, NM as a designer draftsman from 1963 to 1966 . In 1966 he relocated to Wyomissing Hills, PA and worked for Westeren Electric (later named AT&T Technologies) as an associate engineer, engineer and senior engineer in the manafacture of integrated circuits until he retired in 1989. James and his second wife Jan lived outside Bethel Pennsylvania from June 1979 to May 2000 when they relocated to Durango Colorado.

James William Brossman Jr and Rebecca Sue Grubb were married on 10 July 1960 in England AFB, Alexandria, LA. They were divorced on 1 May 1978 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. Rebecca Sue Grubb, daughter of Gaylord Flory and Georgianna L. Machmahon, was born on 17 July 1942 in Anthony, KS. Rebecca Sue was adopted in 1944/45 by Chester Grubb, second husband of Georgianna "Corky" Grubb.

James William Brossman Jr and Jan Eileen Pankowski were married on 5 May 1979 in Church of the Brethren, Wyomissing Hills, PA. There were no children from this marriage. Jan Eileen Pankowski¹⁶⁰, daughter of Chester John Pankowski and Catherine Zatarack, was born on 5 November 1950 in Reading, Berks Co., PA.
