After the death of his first wife, the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Brown, who bore him four children, Emma, Charles, Mary and George, he married the widow of Rev. Rebecca Irene Brown, daughter of Joseph Brown and Rebecca Lawerence Foster, was born on 3 May 1835.46 She died on 11 December 1864 at the age of 29.46 She was buried in Lithopolis Cem, Fairfield Co.
