882. William Josiah Brossman¹⁶⁰ was born on 1 November 1891 in Lower Heidelberg Township, Berks Co., PA.¹⁶¹ He was baptized on 29 April 1892 in L. Heidelberg Twsp. by Rev. E. S. Brownmiller.¹¹⁷ Sponsors were the parents. He was confirmed on 31 March 1912 in Alsace Lutheran Church by Rev. C. E. Kistler.¹⁶² William died on 24 April 1964 at the age of 72 in Hyde Park, PA.¹⁶¹ He was buried on 28 April 1964 in Alsace Cemetery, Reading, Berks Co., PA.¹⁶¹ William J. and his wife Edna lived at 2939 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park, PA. In his life, he had been a fireman on the Reading Railroad, owned and operated an automobile repair shop called Brossman's Garage and worked as a boiler engineer for Reading Container Corp. when he retired.

William Josiah Brossman and Edna May Heiser were married on 18 October 1913 in parsonage of Rev. Elam J. Snyder. Edna May Heiser¹⁶³, daughter of James William Heiser and Emma Cathrine Spayd, was born on 30 August 1892 in Muhlenberg Township, PA.¹⁶¹ She was baptized on 31 January 1893 in Muhlenberg Twsp. by Rev. F. K. Hunzinger. She died on 18 February 1979 at the age of 86 in Reading, Berks Co., PA.¹⁶¹ Edna was buried in Alsace Cemetery, Reading, Berks Co., PA.¹⁶¹

William Josiah Brossman-3 and Edna May Heiser-13 had the following children:
