The market was tight. So much so that houses were selling at $50,000 above what at least I valued them at. Just beyond the pinnacle of the market we found one that needed TLC. Thankfully, we bought for much less than appraised value.
Here are some before and after shots of our project that consisted of priming and painting 12 rooms in tow-tone, carpet throughout, new moldings in half of the rooms, new lighting in half the house, new door knobs everywhere, new electrical switches and outlets throughout, painting the shed, and I haven't even mentioned the yard or replacing the front door. Whoa.
