The graphics in this game are excellent. All the Dead or Alive girls jumping and diving and posing on the sunny beaches of Zack Island, wearing swimsuits that range from mild to daring to must-be-glued-to-her-nipples. There are some clipping problems with some of the suits, but this isn't something you'll notice during actual gameplay. Even if all you do is sit by the pool, you'll be concentrating more on how to get the best cleavage shot possible, or trying to get a better look at Kasumi's underwear.
Believe it or not, the volleyball aspect of this game is actually very fun. While I tend to use it more as a means to an end (earning more money to buy swimsuits and gifts), it's still an enjoyable way to pass the time. The casino games are a nice plus, although I might have preferred the ability to actually watch your chosen character play the games. This of course gives me a mental image of Tina sitting on a stool in front of the poker table wearing one of those v-thong suits (also known as a "nipple-strip slit-gripper").
This game has tons of replayability in it. I've played it for well over 100 hours, and I've only got about 26% of all the swimsuits, accessories, and other items in the game. There are 304 swimsuits each character can wear, along with three character-specific suits per character. There aren't any real secrets to be unlocked in this game, at least not that I'm aware of, but the sheer number of suits and accessories makes up for that.
This was one of those few games that I knew I was going to buy well before it was released. I reserved a copy at my local Babbages, and I've been happy with it ever since. True, it can get frustrating when Tina throws a $500,000 swimsuit in the trash because she hates it, but I still have loads of fun getting all the suits and seeing how each character looks in them. It's almost like Barbie Fashion Designer, except the models (if they were real people) could kick your ass faster than you could say "Are those real?"
