A. Importing Sources attached to dates.
In previous versions of Generations 5.2, there is an import issue with
sources. If a GEDCOM or copy is made from a Generations 4.2 file with sources
attached to dates, the sources are lost when the file is imported into
Generations 5.2. This has been corrected with this patch.
B. Chart trim problem.
In previous versions of Generations 5.2, there is a Trim issue in
EasyCharts. When selecting a Trim option, and then printing, the Trim
defaults back to Trim/Each. This has been corrected with this patch.
[2] HOW TO INSTALL THE PATCH
====================================
This patch is a self extracting zip file which will update your current
Tree5.exe and Charts.exe with the updated executables. If the patch will
not update these files it is possible you have a computer virus that has
invected them. Obtain a virus checking software program to fix the problem.
[3] ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
====================================
Generations has an interactive mailing list for users to help each other
with tips and tricks for using the product. This mailing list is called
the Generations Discussion list. If you'd like to join this list, please
visit this web page listed below. This mailing list is reviewed by Sierra
to stay current with the user discussion; however, Sierra's technical
support group does not monitor this list, it is for users to help other

The Product Support area of our web site also has an extensive list of
tips about using Generations. Many of these tips have been authored by
Mike Hobart, a very knowledgeable user of Generations, and others come
from the product team. There is also a facility for you to add tips if
you've got something to share that's not already on the site. The web

in future versions of Generations, please email them to
Generations.Suggestions@Sierra.com. Likewise, if you find errors in the
program that are not corrected by normal troubleshooting, also email them
to Generations.Suggestions@Sierra.com. Be sure to include specific
information about what you have tried to correct the issue, and the steps
taken to reproduce the issue.
If you have issues of a more technical nature, you can email Technical
