Index and other options for Internet Output
Tip version: 54.1

The location of the index option settings for Internet Output is not in a very obvious place in the Easytree program.
Go to the Options menu and select Reports, then the Index options. There are two items that are particularly important for Internet output with large family files:
1) Select (check) the "Show (Birth-Death) Years" option. A family with many similarly named individuals is MUCH more easily used if the index has the dates.
2) People per web page. Do not use the unlimited (1 page) option if the family is large. The resulting very large web page will take a long time to load in the users' browsers.
The other choices are pretty much a matter of personal choice. A single large web page may take so long to load that people will give up before it has completely downloaded into their browser.
If you are including sources in your reports, the source list is more readable if you select (check) the "Enable Ibids" item. This is in the same Options, Report item, but under the Endnotes settings.
