The godparents and witnesses at her christening were Paul Frisvold, John Skradder, Sevald Frisvold, Kari [?] Ulemo, Ronnoug Brimi, and Kari Brimi. She was living in Chicago in 1964 when her sister died.

She arrived in New York on 30 August 1899, aboard "S.S. Teutonic," from Liverpool. She was accompanied by her sister Ragnild S. Laingen and uncle Peder Laingen. The Teutonic was part of the White Star Line and sailed from Liverpool, England, on 23 August 1899, and Queenstown, Ireland on 24 August 1899, Edward Robert McLinstry [?] master. She had sailed from Kristiania (Oslo) on the S.S. Angelo on 18 August 1899.

She was living at 1010 Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, in 1903 when her brother Lars S. Laingen emigrated.

She was living with her cousin Paul Brimie at the time of the 1910 census, called "Anna Lagan."

There is a Mrs. Anna Weiler living at 605 N. Latrobe Ave., Chicago [37-38] in the 1937 Lurie index. No other Anna Weilers or Wielers were listed. She was living in Chicago in 1946 at the time of her brother Erland's death.
