Notes for Georg Luck
His death registration gives his date of birth as 9 January 1809 and the name of his wife as Annie Darnutzer.

Mueller 67 has an account of his family, centered on his sons George and Andrew. It is clear that the family was living near Chur in the late 1830s. When they first settled in Sumpter they built a cabin about one mile north of the 1980 location of the "Tuck-A-Way Campground," on land owned in 1980 by Henry Accola.

It should be possible to locate where they were living in the 1848 and 1850 Swiss censuses.

Notes for Anna (Spouse 1)
The St. Antönien churchbook has her birthdate as 4 February 1816, but that might be the christening date. Her gravestone has her date of birth as 9 January 1816, an unusually long time before her recorded christening. It is included here for what it is worth.

Notes for Georg & Anna (Family)
The Schiers church book implies that the marriage took place there, but needs reexamination. The St. Antönien church book definitely states that it occurred in Chur.
