Notes for Clas Schalaben
His age at death was given as 66 years, 9 months, and 11 days. I do not see his christening in Schiers within a several year interval around the calculated birthdate. A check of the Schuders records did not see any Schalebens in the appropriate interval.

Based on naming patterns, check the records of Jacob Schaleben in particular. Note that there is a Jacob Schaleben having children in Grüsch near the interval we are interested in, but there is no Clas listed as being born there. The 1724-1738 records of christenings, marraiges, and deaths are all blank. Perhaps they were being served by another parish (Seewis?).

Note that the Jacob Schaleben, born 1684 in Schiers, is in the right age interval to be his father.
Notes for Anna (Spouse 1)
She was born in the Schiers district. The godparents and witnesses at her christening were Nauli Jecklin, Clas Truogg, Barbara Maharnin, Anna Flütschin, and Barbla Hallstabin.

Note that there are a number of Anna Truoggs born in the 1700-1720 interval, so it will be necessary to find her death record to help eliminate them. There is one born in 1713 who is daughter of Jacob Truogg, a likely candidate based on naming practices.

I have not located her death record. Note that there are two intervals where there are gaps in the death records.
