| The godparents and witnesses at her christening were Mstr. Antony Lem, Joh. Jacob von Moos, Christina Ploni, Jfr. Ursula Ploni, and Jfr. Ursula Bernardi. The year of her death is noted on the christening record. She was the Maria Zimmerman, age 71 (i.e. born 1764) and living with her son Nikolaus Zimmerman at the 1835 census. |

He was christened as Peter Zimmerman. The christening record for several children is sparse on this page, with no godparents and witnesses listed for some five children. Presumably the priest misplaced his notes. The christening date is an interpolation from those which are recorded. The christening record is annotated that his age at death was 74 years, 10 1/2 months. This is almost exactly ten years off from the date I have, and no death of a Peter Zimmerman is found on the date calculated, so this appears to be an error.
He is called "Hs. Peter Zimmerman", widower, when he marries Maria Senti. Despite the potential for confusion with the various Johannes, Hans Peter, and Peter Zimmermans about, I have rechecked all eleven children of Peter and Maria. |
