| Notes for Peter Flütsch |
He was born in the Pusserein district. The godparents and witnesses at his christening were Hans Saltzgeber, Caspar Hartmann, Landsmanni Anna Dammin, Greta Willin, and Maria H. Conzettin.
The Peter Flütsch of Schuders who died in 1769 was 99 years old according to the death record. But I cannot find any Peter Flütsch near that birthdate. There is a Peter Flütsch of Schuders having children near that time, but not a son Peter that I can locate. Note again that the Schiers death records for 1752-58 have been lost and those from 1771-1778 are misplaced or lost.
Note that the naming patterns of their known children do not match the grandparents as expected so there might be some mis-identification here. |
| Notes for Christina (Spouse 1) |
She was born in the Schiers district. The godparents and witnesses at her christening were Hans Haldstaab, Andreas Marcks, Anna Tarnutzerin, Greta Krawin, and Anna Flütschin.
The page numbers are very hard to distinguish in the Schuders church book. There is a blot on the page where her age was recorded but it was fifty-something, and this Christina would have been almost 52 at the time of her death. |
