Notes for Valtin Thöni
He was born in the St. Antönien Ascharina district. The godparents and witnesses at his christening (as Faltin) were Clas Töni, Falti Luc, Stina Roegnoi {??], Trina Ladner, and Ana Pitschi. There is a note bene about Castels St. Antönien.
I do not see him remarrying at Schiers through the end of 1819. Also check the Schuders records.
He was living in Schiers with his wife at the time of the 1838 census. He is at the end of the Schiers entries for the St. Antönien census list. The date of his burial is not recorded in the Schiers church book. Possibly he was buried in St. Antönien. His age at death was given as 79 years, 4 days. |

Medical Notes for Frena (Spouse 1)
She died just after her daughter Anna was born, so obviously it was due to complications from childbirth.
Misc. Notes
She was born in the St. Antönien Ascharina district. The godparents and witnesses at her christening wereFaltin and Peter Flütsch. Her age at death was given as 37 years, 2 months, and an unreadable (at least on the microfilm) number of days. The death record states that she died only half a day after giving birth. This age let me correct her birthdate and parents, as I had initially picked a young Frena born in 1766.
