| Notes for Margreth Flütsch |
She was normally referred to as Greta, but occasionally as Margreth. Her death record states that she was the wife of Josua Saltzgeber and was 85 years old at the time of death. I had earlier confused her with another Greta Flütsch who had died on 23 January 1764.
Based on naming patterns, I would guess that her father's name would have been Faltin Flütsch. |
| Notes for Josua (Spouse 1) |
There are no godparents or witnesses listed for his christening. The church book for this interval appears to have been compiled somewhat after the fact and all notes were not available. His age at death is given as 76 years.
There is another Josua Salzgeber, who died on 20 May 1757, age 1 1/2 years, undoubtedly a grandson. |
