Notes for Isabella Ward
The data as presented by Roloson disagree with that from other sources. These need to be resolved.449
Notes for James (Spouse 1)
James Northam was in Hartford in 1657, in Wethersfield 1659, and was one of the first settlers in Hadley. He died there in 1660.

Hannah Whitlock Baldwin was the first wife of Joseph Baldwin, married on Nov. 10, 1636 in High Wycombe, Co.Suffolk, England. They set sail along with Joseph's two brothers, Nathaniel Baldwin and Timothy Baldwin, for America. By 1646, the three brothers and their wives were living in Milford, having first lived in New Haven. After Hannah's death in 1661, Joseph removed to Hadley, Mass. He became a freeman in 1666. Joseph married, second, Isabella Ward, widow of John Catlin and James Northam of Hartford. By her first marriage, Isabella was the mother of John Catlin Jr. Joseph married, third, Elizabeth Gibbons, widow of Luke Hitchcock and William Warriner.

Children: Joseph Baldwin Jr, Benjamin Baldwin, Hannah Baldwin Hull, Mary Baldwin Catlin, Elizabeth Baldwin Warriner(first wife of James Warriner), Martha Baldwin Hawks(mother of John Hawks III), Jonathan Baldwin, David Baldwin, and Sarah Baldwin Bartlett.
