Notes for Lydia Brown
The immigration date is considered possible but not certain. Parsons has various details on her.542
Notes for Thomas (Spouse 1)
Parsons has details on his life and ancestry.542 Thomas and Lydia had eight children.542
Notes for Eltweed (Spouse 2)
Weis has questions about his ancestry. Pomeroy has considerable details on his life and ancestry. Among those details is that the anvil he brought over from England for use in his gunsmithing trade was still in the family in 1912. There had been gunsmiths in the family for seven generations. Traditionally, he went blind at the end of his life. He was preparing to move from Windsor to his son's home in Northampton (where he died) in 1669. Weis advises that Eltweed Pomeroy's ancestry is unproven.418 Check this out with references more recent than Pomeroy.

It has been shown that he was signing documents in Beaminster, Dorset, in 1631 so he could not have been on the "Mary & John" arriving in 1630. He is now believed to have come on the unnamed ship that landed on 24 July 1633.545

Parsons has various details, since he married Lydia Brown, widow of Thomas Parsons, who also came from Beaminster.542
