Notes for Mindwell (Spouse 1)
The Ohio D.A.R. publication follows Davis in misidentifying her.261 There are two sets of cousins in Wallingford, both with sisters named Mindwell and Keziah, so one needs to be careful.
Notes for Keziah (Spouse 2)
Age when died 82 years, 3 months. Her gravestone gives her age at death as 82 years. There is some question of which Mindwell and Keziah Royce married Josiah Mix. Jacobus states that Mindwell was the daughter of Timothy Royce and Abigail Teel. I note that there were no children named Timothy or Abigail from either of Josiah's marriages. He did have a daughter Sarah from his marriage to Mindwell and a son Samuel Rice from his marriage to Keziah. This suggests to me that Mindwell and Keziah are the daughters of Samuel and Sarah. This is also consistent with the date of birth for Keziah and the date of death of Timothy Royce. This led me to change the attribution of parents for "our" Keziah who married Josiah Mix.

I had her birth on 25 March 1768 at Wallingford.266 If the 82 year 3 month age is correct then she probably is the daughter of Samuel Royce and Sarah Evarts. The alternate is Jacobus' attribution to Timothy Royce & Abigail Teale. An examination of church and probate records (including siblings!) should be able to resolve this important point.

Jacobus states that she married Josiah Mix and died in Atwater, Ohio, age 82.265
