Notes for Edward Bugbee
He is said to have come from Stratford-le-Bow at the junction of the Rivers Lea and Thames. This is now a part of London, and was shown on old maps as "Bugbee's Marshes." The East India Company built it's docks and wharves in the area. This is now the Docklands district.

He came to Boston in 1634 in the ship "Francis" which sailed from Ipswich in April. Edward sailed with his wife Rebecca and daughter Sarah. His brother Richard, Richard's wife Judith and Edward's son John had emigrated in 1630. Edward's farm was near where the Mt. Hope Cemetery is located.

Dunkle248 mentions that he is compiling a genealogy of the descendants of Edward Bugbee, as of 1992.
