| Notes for Thomas Hosmer |
Thomas Hosmer was in Cambridge (then Newtown) in 1632. He was the brother of the first James Hosmer. He was made freeman on 6 May 1635 and moved to Hartford early, with Rev. Hooker. He had a good estate there and was constable, selectman, and seven times a representative. He moved to Northampton, but returned to Hartford in his old age. His monument is the oldest in the graveyard at Hartford.
