Notes for Alice Marie Kjestad
Her baptismal record was for "Elise Marie," and the witnesses were T. Kjestad and wife Ragnild Kjestad, and Teodor Thormondson. The SSDI1 has her birth on 15 November 1883, with the year incorrect.

The Linden church records have her death occuring at the Madelia Hospital while the Watonwan Co. records have it in Rochester. Buried in Lot 44 1/2 of the Linden Lutheran Cemetery.

His cause of death was myocarditis suffered for 9 months and arteriosclerosis suffered for 10 years. His attending physician was Dr. W. J. McCarthy.

Martin was from Becker Co., Minnesota, at the time of their marriage. They obtained their marriage license on 26 June 1922 and were married on 28 June by Rev. Jacob Thornell, with Peter Strond and Alma Diaeth as the witnesses.
