The first nuclear powered aircraft carrier to join the United States Navy. It is the second ship in my "History of the Enterprise" Collection.

This kit was built basically straight from the box and painted, given my lack of knowledge about naval vessels, according to the kit instructions. Many parts were given a black wash in an effort to bring out details. |
| I attempted to depict the flight deck as it would appear in full operation. According to a friend of mine who actually served on a carrier, I got more than a little carried away. All of the planes shown here have black painted canopies and decalled wing insignia. |  |
