This is the Tie fighter from the Ertl Release of the Star Wars Kits.
| Initially, the kit was built straight per the instructions. Some detailing was done prior to assembly. The exterior of the kit was painted with a white primer prior to detailling. After assembly, the entire kit was given a black wash in an effort to both weather it and to bring out much of the detail. |  |

Not wanting to waste the time I spent detailing the cockpit, I opted not to install the glass in the cockpit frame. |
