Roguewing was born in an alternate future to the current timeline in
which she lives. She was born to the alien bounty hunter, Hakrenar
Domnaja(Goldwing) and the human bounty hunter/vigilante, Stephanie James(Rogue).
She was given the name Haleanar Elizabeth Domnaja in honor of her father's
first wife and her mother's aunt, both deceased. Along with Javan McKie(Stormhawk), she was to form the core of a new Strikeforce:Firehawk. When her parents were killed by the Winds of Change, she sought vengeance by trying to kill their leader, Changewind. She was halted in this by the other members of the Winds and magically catapulted across the dimensions into a slightly different version of her timeline. Here, Goldwing was a woman, and Rogue, her mother, was still Renegade, and still very much a man. Her original armor was lost when she and Renegade attempted to capture the renegade vampire known as Angel. |

Following the loss of her original armor, Roguewing went in search of
her own identity. She changed the look of her new armor according to this
new look. This second armor was lost when the renegade vampires killed her and took possession of the suit. |

Feeling responsible for her untimely death, Renegade, now Rogue to stay as a result of a second encounter with Angel, arranged to have the young woman cloned and paid for a third suit of armor to be built. |
