Concieved at about the same time as the Akira and Sovereign classes, the Cutlass utilizes elements of both.

The original Cutlass class, on which this one is based, had a lower sensor pod hanging down from the saucer hull. I dispensed with this as I believed that it ruined the lines Mike had concieved.
