Defender Class Starship

During the development of the Nova class explorer, it was decided to try a warship variant.
The nose was reconfigured, as was the nacelle configuration. A Danube-style weapons pod was added.
It still needs to be seen how this configuration works in combat, but it shows promise.

This ship was designed by Mike Brown and owes its origins to early development drawings of the Defiant Pathfinder
