Class:Vagabond

The Vagabond class was designed at roughly the same time as the
Constitution class and
used some of the same components.
The pod that housed the navigational deflector was originally to house the
shuttlebay as well, but it was found to be very cramped, with capacity for
only two shuttlecraft.
In battle, she was maneuverable but suffered from some integrity problems
during high warp maneuvers.
Although concieved as the first in the Pegasus series, she was actually the third ship to be designed. I basically regressed the Pegasus class to use the TOS Enterprise components.
Jim Stevenson came up with this version when he cleaned up my schematic. Ironically, this one looks more like the model I have since built of the ship. I may add some of the details he put in here to the model.
